Overview of NDI and the formats
With the NDI (Network Device Interface) software, NewTek has developed a system for the transmission, control and output of video content. For example, PTZ cameras, joystick controllers and video mixers can be connected via a network.
The big challenge is to output video in high quality with the lowest possible delay. Since the technical possibilities can vary greatly depending on the infrastructure, NewTek has developed various formats for compression.
