Ready for wireless screen sharing
The PTZ cameras CV605-U3/-U3W and CV730-BK/-WH are now certified for Barco Clickshare. What you can do with it and for whom it is useful, you can find out here.
Roughly divided, there are two areas of application:
- Face-to-face events (seminars, meetings in the office, lectures)
- Online meetings
1. Face-to-face events
With Clickshare, you can share the screen of your own notebook wirelessly with another monitor. The concept was developed for groups sitting together in a room, looking at a large screen on the wall together and wanting to take turns showing each other their own screen.
This is how the transfer works:
- The base station is connected to the central monitor (or beamer) via HDMI.
- A transmitter (USB dongle) is connected to the notebook.
- There is a large button on the USB dongle. If you click this button, the content of your own screen is sent to the base station via radio. It is now visible to everyone on the central monitor.
The use works via plug & play. Drivers are not necessary. The dongle can be flexibly passed on between the participants.
2. Online meetings
Plug and play all the conference room technology into the notebook. One problem with ready-made conference rooms is that the technical setup is often fixed to certain software like Zoom or Teams.
With Clickshare you are flexible.
- Launch the application for your meeting (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- Connect your notebook to the base station. (As described above via the dongle or the app).
- You are automatically connected to the devices in the room. So the fixed camera, the microphone on the table and the speakers.
Provided that the devices are all set up with Clickshare. The following cameras are certified by Barco for the application.
Other models for the Clickshare workflow
With the help of the signal converters, the tracking camera can also be integrated into the Clickshare environment. Especially for seminars with is the model interesting.
