Note: Water protection for other lenses
In principle, you can screw all M12 lenses onto this camera. However, the protective cap is designed to fit perfectly over the 3.6mm lens supplied. If the aperture angle is larger, you may see a vignette in the image. Other lenses for greater distances have a thread that is too long. The protective cap can then not be screwed on completely.
If the water protection is not absolutely necessary, you can leave the protective cap off. This gives you flexibility of choice (with the other mini cameras).
